Our office is at Door No 1101 on Old Taluk Kacheri Road in the Nagarth Pet area. It’s a very busy part of town with a lot of shops and people moving around. Riddai Overseas Pvt Ltd has been based here for some time now. We deal with trading and moving goods, which involves a lot of phone calls and sitting at desks. The building is older, like many in Nagarth Pet, but it has a lot of character. We are on a busy street, so there’s always noise from the traffic outside. We don’t mind it. It’s just the sound of the city. We have a small team here. We spend most of our day talking to suppliers and checking on shipments. Sometimes things get delayed at the ports or on the road, and we have to spend hours on the phone trying to find out what happened. It can be stressful, but we’re used to it by now. We aren't trying to be some giant international firm with glass walls. We just have our desks, our computers, and a lot of tea. Nagarth Pet is a great place to work because everything you need is just a short walk away. We know the other business owners on Old Taluk Kacheri Road. We all look out for each other. It’s a good way to work. We usually finish up in the evening and head home through the busy markets. It's always a long day but the work gets done.
