Richmond Polyclinic And Diagnostic Centre is located inside No. 516 Ranka Apartments. You have to head up to the 1st floor to find us. Being near Richmond Circle and Lalbagh Road means there is constant energy outside. It’s a busy intersection. The clinic itself is inside a residential building, so it feels a bit more private than a big hospital. We have a few rooms set up for testing and some for consultations. The hallway is narrow, and we have chairs lined up against the wall for people waiting. It can get a bit tight when there are a lot of families here. The diagnostic equipment takes up a good amount of space in the back rooms. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and printing out results. It's a bit quieter in here than it is out on the street. You can still hear the distant honking from Richmond Circle though. The staff is small, just a handful of us who handle the front desk and the labs. We use the apartment's main entrance, so you see people who live here coming and going with their groceries. It’s a unique spot for a clinic. We try to keep things organized despite the limited space. There’s a small desk where you sign in. It’s mostly just a functional space for health checks and lab work. No fluff or extra stuff. We keep the windows closed to keep the dust out from the road. It’s a very practical and straightforward workspace for all of us every day.
