Richies Collections

Richies Collections is tucked away at 108 in the Shopping Complex Market over at Char Rasta. We are on Rajmahal Road in the Jayanagar area. It’s a busy market environment, which means it’s rarely quiet around here. There is always someone shouting or a scooter zooming past. We’ve been in this complex for a few years now. The shop itself is packed with items from floor to ceiling. We don’t really believe in having a lot of empty space if we can help it. It takes a while to learn where everything is kept, but we have our own system that works for us. Jayanagar is a great place to be because of the variety of people you meet every day. Some people just come in to look around and chat for a bit while others know exactly what they want. We spend a lot of time rearranging the stock and making sure things are where they should be. The lighting in the complex isn’t always the best, so we’ve added a few extra lamps in the corners. It’s a very hands-on job and we are usually on our feet for most of the day. We don’t have a fancy website or a lot of bells and whistles. We just focus on being here and keeping the shop running as it should. It’s hard work but it feels good at the end of the day when we close the shutters.
