Our place is at 107 Netaji Subhas Road in Kolkata 34. This part of the city is always bustling and there is never a quiet moment on the street outside. We have a small space here where we manage our retail activities and keep track of everything. The building is quite old and has a lot of character, even if the walls are a bit stained. We have piles of boxes in the corners because there is never enough storage for all the stock. Most of our day is spent talking to people who walk in or checking the inventory on our old ledger. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit when it is on high speed, but it keeps the air moving. We usually have a quick lunch at our desks because it is hard to find a quiet spot nearby. The traffic on Netaji Subhas Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we try to get our deliveries out early. It is a very busy environment but we are used to the pace of Kolkata life. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have been working together for years. We know where everything is even if it looks messy to someone else. It is a practical setup and we just focus on keeping the business moving along one day at a time.
