Reservation Executive

Writing from Hassan, Karnataka, is a bit different than being in a big city like Bangalore. We are the Reservation Executive team, and we work right here in the district. Hassan is a place where things move a bit slower, and we like it that way. Our office doesn't have a big fancy name on a skyscraper. We are just tucked into a regular building in the 573201 zip code area. Mostly, we spend our days answering calls and fixing booking issues for people traveling through this part of India. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of typing. The office gets a bit noisy when everyone is on the phone at once, but that’s just how it is. We have a small kettle for making coffee, and someone usually brings in some local snacks to share in the afternoon. It’s not a polished corporate environment. We wear regular clothes and talk like normal people. If the power goes out, which happens sometimes, we just sit and chat until it comes back on. We know the local roads and the best places to eat around here, which helps when people ask us questions. We aren't a huge operation, just a few folks in Hassan doing our bit. It’s a simple life, and the work is steady. We don't need much more than a working phone and a decent chair to get through the day's tasks.
