Renuka Fancy Stores

Renuka Fancy Stores is situated in Prakash Colony, just off Hosur Road. It’s a small, local shop that serves the people living right here in the colony. We don’t have a massive storefront or anything, just a sign and some displays in the window. Inside, you’ll find a bit of everything: bangles, hair pins, small cosmetics, and all those little things you need for a festival or a school project. It’s often quite crowded because the shop is small and we have a lot of stock. We spend a lot of time helping people find the right shade of thread or a specific kind of button. Hosur Road is a nightmare for traffic, but once you turn into Prakash Colony, it’s a bit more peaceful. We’ve been here long enough that we’ve seen kids grow up and start coming in to buy things for their own homes. The shop stays cool in the summer because of the way the building is shaded, which is a nice break from the heat outside. We do our own inventory, usually late at night when the shutters are down. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes with all the small items, but we know where everything is. It’s just a family-run kind of place where we take things one customer at a time. We don't have any big corporate plans; we just want to keep the shelves full and the neighbors happy.
