Renaissance Technologies Pvt Ltd is over in HBR Layout, near the Mangal Bazar at 5Ac-952. The area is quite lively, especially on market days when the streets get really crowded. Our office is a modest space where we spend most of our waking hours. We started this company a few years ago because we wanted to do things our own way without a boss breathing down our necks. Now, we just have clients to answer to, which is its own kind of challenge. We do a lot of coding and system maintenance. Sometimes the work is interesting, and other times it’s just moving files around and making sure servers don't crash. We have a small table in the corner for lunch, but we usually end up eating while looking at our screens anyway. We aren't a big name, and we don't have a PR team or anything like that. If you call us, you’ll probably just talk to one of the three or four people who actually do the work. We like the HBR Layout area because it has everything we need nearby, from good tea to stationery shops. We don't make big promises we can't keep. We just try to be helpful and get the projects finished on time. It’s a small, local operation, and we’re quite happy with that for now.
