Reliance

We are located at No.12, Chamiers Road. It is a ground floor spot in Akshaya Apts. This Reliance office isn't one of those massive towers you see in the news. It is just a small branch here in Nandanam. Chennai is always hot, so the first thing we do is turn on the fans and the AC when we arrive. We have people coming in all day with questions about their accounts or looking for help with something. The space is a bit tight with all the desks and the chairs for customers. We spend a lot of time looking for files in the cabinets. Chamiers Road is always loud with cars and buses going by. Sometimes it is hard to hear the person across the desk. We do not have a big fancy lobby. It is just a practical place to get work done. We take turns going out for coffee at the stall down the street. It is a lot of routine stuff, typing into the system and checking IDs. Sometimes the printer jams and we all have to take a look at it. We have been in this building for a while, so we know the other residents in the apartments above. It is a simple setup. We do not try to be anything we aren't. We just show up, do the work for the day, and close up the shutters when it is time to go. It is a decent place to spend the day.
