Reid & Taylor India Limited

Our location is a bit of a mouthful to explain to delivery drivers. We are over at Dodda Kammanahalli, near Gottigere Post on BG Road in Bangalore. The place belongs to Vasanthkumar A, care of Anumakka, who is the widow of the late Nagappa. It’s a very local, residential kind of setup. We aren’t in one of those shiny IT parks you see all over Bangalore now. Instead, we are tucked away in a spot that feels more like a village within the city. Working here means hearing the cows and the local traffic every day. We handle the Reid & Taylor stuff from this address, mostly focusing on the fabric and the part where we send things out to shops. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting rolls and checking the quality of the weaves. The staff here is like a small family. We know the history of the house and the family who owns it. Sometimes the Bangalore rains make the roads a bit difficult, but we always manage to get the work done. We don't have a big marketing team sitting here. It’s just us, some notebooks, and a lot of high-quality cloth. We spend our time making sure everything is counted right and that the shipments go to the right places. It’s a humble way to run things, but it has worked for us for a long time. We just keep our heads down and do the job as best as we can, day after day, without making a big fuss.
