If you go down Bannerghatta Road and head into Chamundeshwari Layout in Arkere, you’ll find us in unit 501 of the H12 building. That’s where Refracto Technologies India Private Limited is set up. It’s a pretty typical office space, honestly. We have our monitors, some half-dead plants on the windowsills, and plenty of empty water bottles lying around by the end of the day. We’ve been here for a while now, and we’ve settled into a rhythm. The morning starts with everyone coming in at slightly different times, getting their coffee, and checking what needs to be tackled first. We don't have a boss who hovers over us; we all know what our jobs are. The tech world can be pretty fast, but we try to keep a steady pace so we don't burn out. Being in Arkere is okay, though the traffic on the main road can be a nightmare if you leave at the wrong time. We focus on the practical side of technology. We aren't trying to be the next giant tech firm; we just want to provide something that works well for our clients. We spend a lot of time testing things and making sure there aren't any weird bugs. It’s a lot of trial and error sometimes. We’re just regular folks who happen to be good with tech, trying to make a living in this city.
