Reddy Solar Energy

We set up Shop No - 1 in Az Manzil, which is right on the 1St Main and 1St Cross in Nagappa Reddy Layout. It’s a decent spot in Ramamurthynagar here in Bengaluru. Reddy Solar Energy is the name on the board outside. Most of our day is spent talking about solar panels and how to get them onto people's roofs. We have a lot of frames and glass panels sitting around the shop. It is practical work, and we get our hands dirty quite often. We don't have a big marketing team or anything; it’s just us answering the phone and going out to look at sites. Sometimes we are up on a ladder, and other times we are just sitting at the desk figuring out the wiring. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we see a lot of the same faces walking by. We aren't some giant corporation with a glass building. We are just a small shop trying to help people get some power from the sun. It can be a bit of a puzzle to fit everything together sometimes, but we enjoy the challenge. The shop gets a lot of light during the day, which feels right given what we do. We keep things simple and just focus on the tasks at hand, one day at a time. It's a lot of manual labor and technical thinking mixed together, which keeps the day interesting for everyone here.
