Rayan Jewellery Pvt Ltd

I've been working at Rayan Jewellery on Richmond Road for a while now. The shop is at number 24. It’s a busy spot, especially in the afternoons when the traffic picks up outside and the noise of the cars comes right through the front glass. We spend most of our time showing people different gold pieces or trying to help someone find a gift that doesn't cost too much. It gets a bit dusty near the front door sometimes because of the constant road work nearby, but we keep things clean enough inside. There are three of us here usually. We aren't a huge corporation or anything, just a private limited setup that keeps things running day to day. Sometimes the light in the back storage room flickers, and we keep saying we’ll fix it, but you know how it goes when things get busy. People come in looking for rings or chains, and we just pull out the trays and let them look. We don't push anyone to buy things they don't really want or need. It’s mostly just sitting behind the counter, chatting with the regulars who live around here, and making sure the stock is counted right at the end of every day. Richmond Road has changed a lot over the years with more shops and cafes opening up, but we’re still here in the same old spot. It’s a job, you know? We try to be fair with the prices and explain how the weight and making charges work if someone asks. That's pretty much our life here.
