Being over here in Thane West is quite different from our old spot. We are tucked away in Louiswadi Greens Road at E 304, which is part of the Banashankari 3rd Stage area. The building is usually quiet during the day, which makes it easier to focus on what we are doing. I remember when we first moved in, the lift was always acting up, but it seems better now. Most days are spent looking at designs and talking to people who find us through word of mouth. We don't really do much advertising because the work usually speaks for itself. The light in the afternoon is really good in this unit, so I try to get most of the detailed stuff done then. We have a small corner for making coffee, though the machine is a bit temperamental lately. Sometimes it feels like we are more of a community hub than a business, with neighbors dropping in to chat about the local news or the weather. Traffic on the main road can be a headache, especially during monsoon season when everything slows down. We keep our hours pretty steady, but if someone is running late, we usually wait around. It is just me and a couple of others here, so it never feels like a big corporate office. We just do our thing and try to keep everyone satisfied with the results we provide.
