Ravindra Merewade U

My name is Ravindra Merewade U and I work out of 75 Malleshwaram on 1st Temple Road. Malleshwaram is one of those places that still feels like the old Bangalore I remember. You can hear the bells from the temple nearby in the mornings and evenings. My office is a humble space. It doesn't have any modern glass walls or fancy elevators. It’s just a solid room with a heavy wooden door. I’ve been sitting at this same desk for a long time. The street outside is lined with big trees, so it stays relatively cool even in the summer. I handle my business day by day. There isn't a huge team here, just me and a couple of helpers who have been with me for years. We know most of the neighbors and the people who run the shops on the corner. It’s a quiet existence compared to the newer parts of the city. I don't really use social media or anything to talk about what I do. People just walk in or call the landline. Sometimes the mail gets delivered to the wrong house because the numbers are a bit confusing on this road, but we always sort it out. It’s just a honest way to earn a living in a part of town that I really love.
