Located right by Mogalwada Gendi Gate in Chamarajendrapet, this place has a lot of history around it. Ravi Kiran isn't a big corporation; it’s more of a local fixture. The building is older, with those high ceilings that keep it a bit cooler when the sun is beating down outside. You can hear the sounds of the gate and the traffic all day long. It is a very lively part of town. I spend most of my time behind the counter or at the small desk in the back. There is always dust coming in from the street, so we are constantly wiping things down. It’s just a regular daily routine. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just open up in the morning, handle what comes our way, and close up when the sun goes down. Most of our visitors are people from the neighborhood who have known us for years. We talk about the weather or the local news while we work. It’s a very human way to spend the day. Sometimes the internet is slow, or the water delivery is late, and we just deal with it. It’s not a perfect setup, but it’s ours. The floor is made of that old stone that stays cold, which is nice in the summer. We are just here, doing our thing in Chamarajendrapet day after day without much fuss.
