Ravi Fancy & Gift Centre

Chickpet is always crowded, and our shop at number 150 is right in the middle of that chaos. Being opposite Malabar Lodge means we see a lot of travelers and people just passing through. Ravi Fancy & Gift Centre is a name we’ve had for years. The shop is narrow, and the walls are covered from floor to ceiling with all sorts of fancy items like hair clips, ribbons, and small decorative pieces. It can feel a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once. We usually have to move a stool just so someone can reach the back shelves. My father started this place, and I just kept it going the same way he did. We don't use any computers for our accounts; everything is still written in the big red ledgers by hand. Sometimes we run out of change, so we have to run to the tea shop next door to break a big bill. That is just how things go here. The morning sun hits the front display just right, making all the plastic jewelry sparkle for a bit. We don't promise anything fancy, just a decent selection of goods at a price that won't break the bank. It is loud outside with the honking and the shouting, but once you step inside, it is just us and the shelves of gifts.
