Rathi Farms

Rathi Farms is located down in the Bilekahalli area at 169/A, right near the place locals call Biscuit Gali by Pankor Naka. It is not a massive farm with rolling hills, but more of a central hub where we manage our produce and keep our farming equipment. The area around the Naka is always very busy and loud with people moving around. We have a decent amount of storage space for the bags of vegetables we bring in from the fields. The whole place usually smells like fresh earth and dry grain sacks. Our office is just one small room with an old wooden table and a couple of mismatched plastic chairs. We spend a good portion of our day on the phone talking to different suppliers and people looking to buy. It gets incredibly muddy around here when it rains because the lane isn't paved very well at all. We have been doing this kind of work for a generation now. My hands are usually a bit dirty from moving the crates around. We don't have a website or any social media pages to show off. Most people just know where our gate is and they walk right in. Sometimes we have a bit of extra stock and we end up selling it to the neighbors at a discount. It can be a chaotic place with small trucks constantly coming in and out. We start our work very early, often long before the sun comes up.
