Rasheed Khan

Our place is on the second floor of the Hms Building right on 13 Cubbonpet Main Road. It is a very busy street with a lot of shops and people moving around all the time. Being on the second floor means we are a bit away from the street noise, but you can still hear the horns honking throughout the day. The Hms Building is an older one, but it is sturdy. Rasheed Khan has been here for a while. Usually, the office is full of various items and tools we use for our daily work. It is not the biggest space, but we make it work by stacking things carefully. There is always someone here answering the phone or talking to a visitor. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how things run. The walk up the stairs is good exercise, though it can be tiring if we have to carry heavy things up to the second floor. We know the other shop owners on the ground floor pretty well. It’s a tight-knit community here in Cubbonpet. We don't spend much time on fancy talk; we just get to the work that needs doing. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or use a torch. It’s a practical way of working that suits us just fine. We keep the windows open for a breeze when it gets too hot inside the building during the summer months.
