Ramu Travels

Our office for Ramu Travels is right in the middle of Chickpet, specifically at 7 8 Sawan Guru Plaza. If you've been to this area, you know how narrow and tight the streets are. We are on D K Lane, just off M T Street. It’s always crowded, especially in the afternoons when all the shoppers and delivery carts are trying to get through. The plaza is constantly buzzing with people moving up and down the stairs. Our space is small and mostly filled with chairs for people to sit while they talk to us. We have maps and old posters on the walls, and the phone seems to ring every few minutes. It’s a bit chaotic, but it’s the kind of environment we are used to. Between the noise from the market and the fans overhead, you have to speak up to be heard. We keep our ledgers and some older computers on the main counter. Most of our visitors just walk in because they are already in Chickpet for something else. It isn't the kind of place with plush carpets or fancy lighting. It’s just a busy office where we try to keep track of everyone’s travel plans. We stay open late because that’s when the market is at its busiest. It’s dusty and loud, but we’ve been here for years now and wouldn't know where else to go.
