Our office for Ramshree Architecture Consultancy is located at number 71 on the 11th Cross, 1st Main in Malleshwaram, right near the Temple Street. It is a very specific part of the neighborhood. Being in Malleshwaram means things can get a bit crowded outside, but once you step into our space, it’s mostly just us and our tools. We spend a lot of time on consultancy work, which really just means people come to us when they aren't sure what to do with a piece of land or an old house. We sit down, look at the site, and start sketching things out. The 11th Cross is a place we have grown used to, with all its noises and the smell of the nearby street life. We have a lot of old folders piled up in the corners because we tend to keep everything. You never know when you might need to look back at an old drawing from a few years ago. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of people. It’s just a small group of us trying to get the details right. We take our time with the drawings because rushing usually leads to mistakes. Being at 71 Malleshwaram Temple Street feels right for us. It’s a practical location and it keeps us busy. We don't have any big speeches to give about our work. We just show up, open the door, and start working on the next set of plans for the local folks. It is a steady way to spend the day.
