Ramoji Film City

Our office for Ramoji Film City in Bangalore is over at 72/A 32, 3rd Cross on Mountjoy Road in Hanumanthanagar. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the address, but it’s easy to find once you’re in the area. Hanumanthanagar is one of those old-school Bangalore neighborhoods that hasn’t changed as fast as the rest of the city. We’re in a building that’s been there for quite some time. It’s not a huge studio or anything like that; it’s just the place where we handle the local side of things. There’s a lot of paper moving across our desks every day. We have some old posters on the walls and a few dusty shelves filled with binders. The 3rd Cross is usually quiet except for the occasional delivery bike. We have a small water cooler in the corner and a few chairs for visitors who stop by. Most of the time it’s just the sound of typing and the ceiling fan humming along. We’ve got a small window that looks out onto the street, which is good for people-watching when things get slow. We don't try to be something we’re not. We’re just a group of people working in a regular office in a nice part of town. Sometimes we go out for lunch at the local darshini down the road. It’s a simple, steady way of working.
