Ramesh Advocate

I work out of Gandhi Nagar, right at 21 22 on the 1st Main and 2nd Cross. It’s in the 7th Sector at Krishna Tower. If you know where Sapna Book House is, I’m basically right across from there. It’s a handy spot because everyone knows the bookstore. My office is full of law books and folders. I’ve been an advocate for a long time. The office isn't very big, but it’s enough for me and a couple of assistants. We have some plastic chairs for people to sit while they wait. The lift in Krishna Tower is a bit slow, so I often just take the stairs. It keeps me moving. I spend my days reading through documents and going to court. It’s a lot of waiting sometimes. I usually eat my lunch at my desk while looking at case files. Gandhi Nagar is always crowded, especially with the shoppers and students. There’s a lot of noise from the street, but you get used to it after a week. I’ve got some old photos on the wall. The desk is a bit scratched up but it’s solid. People come in with all sorts of problems. I try to listen and write everything down. It’s a busy life but it keeps me occupied. I stay late most nights to catch up.
