The address is care of Puttaraju, and Theerthachari is the one who mostly looks after things here. Mysore Road is always busy with buses and trucks going towards Mysore, so there is always a bit of noise and dust in the air. Our arcade has been here for some time now. It’s not one of those new malls with glass walls and air conditioning everywhere. It’s more of a traditional shopping spot where people from around Kengeri come to get what they need. We spend our days managing the different spaces and making sure the common areas are kept relatively clean. It’s a lot of talk with the shopkeepers and fixing small things like lightbulbs or leaky pipes. Being behind the bakery means we always smell fresh bread in the mornings, which isn't a bad way to start the day. We’re tucked away a bit, but people know where we are.
