Our shopping arcade is located at No.31/4 in Agrahar Dasar Halli, which is in the Bangalore-78 region. It is an older building and is managed under the name of Shivana. This is not like the massive malls you see in other parts of Bangalore with movie theaters and air conditioning everywhere. It is a collection of small shops where local people come to buy their everyday items. You might find someone selling clothes, or a small place for stationary and household goods. The hallways are a bit narrow and the lighting is just regular tube lights. We spend our time managing the maintenance of the building and making sure the shopkeepers have what they need. It is a busy place because it is right in the heart of the neighborhood. People walk here from their houses nearby to get things done quickly. We do not have a big fancy entrance or a website to show off the place. It is just a practical commercial building that has been around for a long time. The stairs are a bit worn from all the people walking up and down over the years. We just try to keep the place tidy and make sure the shutters work properly.
