Ramanas

Ramanas is located at 14 Cunningham Road, right where it meets Palace Road. It’s a busy intersection, so there are always people moving about outside. The building we are in is an older one. We’ve been here for a good while, watching the city change around us. Inside, it’s pretty plain. We haven't spent much on fancy interior designers or shiny furniture. We have some old fans that hum a bit when they're on, but they keep the place cool enough. The furniture is a bit mismatched, but it serves its purpose. We get a mix of people coming in—some office workers from nearby and some people just passing through. It’s a convenient spot because of the location. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just open the doors in the morning and wait for people to come in. Sometimes we run out of certain items by late afternoon. The lighting isn't the best in the back corners, but most people sit near the front anyway. We just try to keep things running smoothly. It’s not a perfect place, but it’s our place. We know the neighbors and the people who work in the nearby buildings. It feels like a small community even though we are on such a busy road. We just take it one day at a time and do our best with what we have here. It’s just how we run things.
