Being located in Jayram Shopping Centre is interesting because there is always something going on. We are at number 100 on Sampige Road in Malleshwaram. It’s tucked between the 7th and 8th Cross. If you’ve ever been to Sampige Road, you know how packed it gets with shoppers and vendors. Ramachandra G Bhat Adv is what it says on the door. Being an advocate's office, we have a lot of books and files piled up. It's not the neatest place you've ever seen, but I can find a specific document in a couple of minutes if I need to. The shopping center itself has been around for a long time. You can tell by the style of the tiles and the way the corridors are built. It’s a bit dim in the hallways, but our office has enough light. I spend a lot of time talking to people who come in with their problems. We sit and have a chat and see what can be done. There’s no corporate talk here. Just plain English and some legal terms when necessary. The sound of the traffic outside never really stops, but it becomes like background music after a while. Sometimes I go down to the ground floor just to see the crowd and get some air. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we’ve been doing for years in this same building.
