Rak Airways

Way down in Kannur, in the Kuthuparamba area, is where you’ll find us. Our place is called Sreeragam, and it’s right near the post office. Rak Airways has a small presence here, and it’s a far cry from the big city life of Delhi or Mumbai. Over here, things are much greener and a lot quieter. The building itself, Sreeragam, has a very traditional feel to it. We spend our days dealing with whatever comes our way, mostly on the phone or handling local queries. It’s a small team, just a few of us who have lived in the area for years. We don't have fancy office furniture; it’s mostly wooden desks and some old chairs that have been around for a long time. When it rains, which it does a lot here, the sound on the roof is so loud we have to raise our voices to hear each other. We usually have a glass of local tea in the afternoon and talk about the news or what’s happening in the village. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't use big words or have long meetings about strategy. We just show up at the office, see what needs to be fixed or answered, and get to it. It’s a peaceful spot to earn a living, and we appreciate the slower pace of life in Kuthuparamba compared to the chaos elsewhere. We just do our tasks and then head home through the trees when we are finished.
