We are the office of Rajeshwari T R Adv, located on the third floor of the building at 12 Cubbonpet Main Road in Mayur Colony. It’s a bit of a climb since the elevator isn’t always reliable, but we make do with the stairs. The office is full of law books that have been sitting on the shelves for years. We handle all sorts of legal matters for the people who walk in. Cubbonpet is a very active area, so there is always something going on outside. Up here on the third floor, it’s a little quieter, which helps when we have to focus on legal documents. Our desks are usually covered in files and stationary. It’s not a fancy corporate office with a receptionist. Usually, whoever is nearest the door just looks up and says hello. We spend a lot of time preparing for court and talking to clients about their situations. Sometimes the sun hits the windows in the afternoon and makes it quite warm inside. We have a few old wooden chairs for people to sit on while they wait for their turn. It’s a simple setup. We’ve been in Mayur Colony long enough to know the regular faces. Most of our day is spent reading through fine print and typing up statements. It’s steady work and it keeps us occupied from morning until we close up for the evening.
