The shop is located in Seshadripuram, right at Bhowpla Chowk, number 138. It is a busy corner where people are always rushing to get somewhere else. We have been at this address for a long time, so we have seen the area change quite a bit over the years. The building itself is sturdy but shows its age in the corners. We spend most of our time inside the small workspace, dealing with the daily chores. The chowk outside is always loud with the sound of rickshaws and vendors shouting. We have a small bench inside for people to sit if they are waiting for something. The floor is made of old stone that is hard to keep perfectly clean, but we try our best. There is a lot of movement in Seshadripuram, and being at 138 means we are right in the thick of it. We keep our supplies stacked against the wall to save space. It is a tight squeeze sometimes when more than three people are inside. We do not use any complicated systems, just a simple logbook and some pens. It is a very hands-on kind of place. We start early when the air is still a bit fresh and we stay until the evening lights come on at the chowk. It is just our way of doing things here. We know the other shopkeepers around the chowk and we look out for each other. It is a busy but good place to be.
