Rajesh Kumar

Down at Srirampuram Jain Industrial Estate, specifically on Ghatla Village Road 42, is where I run my operation. My name is Rajesh Kumar. It’s an industrial area, so it gets quite loud with all the machinery and trucks moving around. I like it here because nobody minds if I make a bit of noise too. My unit is number 42. It’s a sturdy place with high ceilings. I’ve got all my gear set up exactly how I want it. It took me a long time to get everything in the right place. I started out with almost nothing, just a few tools and a lot of hope. Now, I’ve got a decent setup. I don't have a fancy showroom. If you come by, you’re going to see the work happening right there in front of you. There is grease on the floor and metal shavings in the corners. It’s a real workshop. I spend most of my time in my overalls. I’m not much for talking, I’d rather just get on with the job. People come from all over the estate when they have a problem they can’t solve themselves. I do my best to help them out. It’s hard work, but it’s my work. I wouldn't want to be doing anything else.
