Rajesh Innovative Projects

Our office is at 39/35 Mathikere, specifically in Sector 22 of Gandhi Nagar. It’s a bit confusing because people sometimes get the Gandhinagar part mixed up with the other one in the city. We’ve been at this spot for a few years now. Rajesh Innovative Projects is basically a small group of us working on various building and design ideas. The office isn’t much to look at, just some tables and old computers. We have stacks of papers and rolls of drawings everywhere. It can get a bit chaotic when we have a deadline. The area around Sector 22 is mostly residential, so it stays fairly quiet except for the dogs barking occasionally. I started this because I wanted to do things my own way. We take on all sorts of projects, some big and some very small. We don't have a receptionist, so if the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. Most of our day is spent sketching or talking to vendors. It's not glamorous work. There's a lot of math and double-checking involved. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. We aren't a big corporation, just a local business trying to make things work in Mathikere. We like the neighborhood and the people here are friendly enough. We usually close up by seven and go home to our families. It’s a decent way to spend the day.
