I have been operating at 2149A Rajajinagar for quite some time now. We are on the 8th Main Road in the 2nd Stage. My name is Rajashekhar M. Rajajinagar is one of those places that feels like a real community. I know the person who runs the tea stall around the corner and the guy at the stationary shop. My office is a small space that I keep as tidy as I can, though sometimes the files start to pile up on the floor. I don’t believe in having a lot of bells and whistles. If you come here, you just see a man at work. The 8th Main Road is always busy with buses and scooters, so there is a lot of dust that comes in if I leave the door open. I usually keep it shut and run a small fan. I handle various tasks throughout the day, mostly things that people in the neighborhood need help with. It is not glamorous work, but it is honest and it keeps me going. I don't spend money on fancy brochures or advertisements because word of mouth has always been enough for me. People know where I am if they need me. I usually close up around 7 PM and walk home. It’s a good life and I’m glad to be part of this area and doing my bit every day.
