Rajalakshmi Clinic

We are located at 10 Sanjay Nagar. It’s right opposite the Akkai Public School, so we hear the school bell and the kids playing during recess every single day. That’s been the soundtrack to our work for quite some time now. Sanjay Nagar is a nice area, mostly residential, which makes the clinic feel like a part of the community. We are not a large medical facility. It’s just a small clinic where we see people for their basic health needs. The space is simple with a few chairs and a desk. We don't go in for expensive decor or anything like that. Most of the time, we are busy writing out notes or checking someone's blood pressure. Being across from a school means the mornings are very loud with parents dropping off their children. After that, it settles down into a quieter rhythm. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. It’s the kind of place where you can just stop by. We try to keep the floors clean and the records organized, though the paperwork can pile up on the desk sometimes. There isn't any fancy corporate talk here. We just provide a place for the neighborhood to come when they aren't feeling well. It’s a practical, local spot that has been part of the Sanjay Nagar street for several years and we enjoy being here.
