Gujarat Emporium

The Gujarat Emporium is right on 39 Mahakavi Kuvampu Road. We are in the 1st Block of Rajaji Nagar. It’s a busy street, and there is always someone walking by or a scooter zooming past. Inside the shop, it’s mostly just shelves filled with what we sell. We’ve been in Rajaji Nagar for quite some time now, and the locals know the spot. It’s not a huge place, but it’s enough for what we do. The lighting isn't always perfect, and sometimes the door squeaks a bit when people come in, but it’s home to us. We spend the day folding things, talking to people who wander in, and keeping the place tidy. There’s a lot of color around because of the stock we carry. We don’t have a big corporate team; it’s just a few of us making sure the shop stays open and the customers find what they are looking for. Mahakavi Kuvampu Road can get pretty loud during rush hour, but we like the energy of the neighborhood. The 1st Block has changed over the years, but our shop stays pretty much the same. We open up in the morning, sweep the front, and wait for the day to start. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we enjoy the daily routine of being a part of this community in Rajaji Nagar. It isn't much, but it's our daily life here.
