Rajadhani Group

Rajadhani Group operates out of Thamarasseril House in Kallimel, which is in Mavelikkara, within the Aleppy District of Kerala. It’s a proper house, not some big office complex in a city. You can see the greenery all around and the air is different here than it is in the bigger towns. Being in South India, the rain can be really heavy, and it drums on the roof so loud you can’t hear yourself think sometimes. We have our desks set up in the rooms of the house. It feels very personal working here because it’s a family-style environment. The address Kallimel P.O. is what we tell everyone for the mail. We spend a lot of time on the phone or dealing with the local people who stop by the house for various things. There’s usually a pot of tea going in the back. The furniture is mostly old wood that’s been around for decades. We don't have a big sign outside, just the gate and the name of the house. It’s a quiet life most of the time, away from the rush. We manage everything from here, keeping track of the business with paper and pens mostly. If the power goes out after a storm, we just open the windows and keep working by the natural light. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us and has for a long time.
