I am Raja R and I run my business out of number 25 in Kamakshi Palya. The place is called Sri Kamadhenu and it is located right opposite to the Lakshmi Vallabha Kalyana Mantapa. Being directly across from a wedding hall means life is never boring. On days when there are big functions, the whole street is full of cars and people in their best clothes. It can get very noisy with the music and the crowds, but it also brings a lot of energy to our road. My shop is a bit small, but it serves its purpose well enough for what I do. I have been here for several years and I have gotten to know the regular flower sellers and the guys at the tea shop nearby. We all look out for each other during the day. The building is a bit old and the paint is peeling in some spots on the outside, but I don't mind that much. I am more concerned with getting the work done than how the walls look to strangers. I start my work early in the morning before the wedding guests arrive and the traffic gets bad. It is a simple life of hard work and seeing the same faces every day. I don't have any big goals, I just want to do a decent job and go home to my family.
