We’ve set up shop at No. 243 on 53rd Cross, in the 4th Block of Rajajinagar, Bangalore - 10. Raj Tours & Travels has been a part of this neighborhood for quite a while. Rajajinagar is a busy place, and being on the 53rd Cross means we see a lot of local traffic. Our work is pretty straightforward. We help people figure out their travel plans, whether it’s a train ticket or a car rental. The office is small and filled with maps and travel brochures, though most things are on the computer these days. We don’t have any high-tech gadgets or a sleek interior. It’s just a few desks, some chairs for customers, and a ceiling fan that’s seen better days. We know a lot of the people who live around here. They stop by to ask about prices or just to have a quick chat about where they should go for their next holiday. We don’t use any complicated sales tactics. We just tell people what’s available and what it will cost. Some days are slow, and we just sit and drink coffee, but other days everyone seems to want to travel at once. We’ve learned to just take it as it comes. It’s a local business run by local people. We aren't a big chain, just this one spot in the 4th Block where we try to be useful to our neighbors. Most days the tea stall next door is where you'll find us if we're not inside.
