Rain Drops

You can find us over at Rain Drops in Basavanagudi, specifically on Subedar Chatram Road near Shankar Park Road. It’s a nice part of the city with plenty of trees, though the intersection can be a headache sometimes. Our office is at number 6. We mostly focus on water-related things, which seemed simple enough when we started. The building we are in is a bit older, so it has some character, like doors that creak and windows that don't always want to stay open. We spend a lot of time thinking about how to save water or move it around for people who need it. It’s not a high-tech operation with flashing lights, just a few of us with some tools and some ideas about plumbing and tanks. Usually, we have a few blueprints lying around and some samples of pipes in the corner. Lunch breaks are often spent at the small eatery down the street because none of us likes to cook much. We don't have any big speeches about saving the planet, we just think it makes sense not to waste what falls from the sky. It's practical stuff. Some days we are out on sites getting dirty, and other days we are just here answering the phone. It’s a living, and it feels good to be part of the neighborhood here. We’ve been at this address for a good stretch now.
