Raghavendras

We’ve been at 142 Gr Plaza for a while now. It is in the Aundh part of Basavanagudi. It is a busy spot most days. People usually find us when they are walking through the plaza. Raghavendras has been in this same corner for some time. We open up the shutters every morning and start setting things out. It is not a huge place, just enough room for what we need. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a few people come in at once, especially if they have bags. The light comes in through the front windows in the afternoon. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the regulars who live around Basavanagudi. They know us and we know them. It is mostly just us working here, making sure things are where they belong on the shelves. There isn't much to say about the history, other than we like being here. The plaza can be loud with all the other shops around, but it feels right for us. We just keep doing what we do every day. If you are walking past 142 Gr Plaza, you will probably see one of us standing near the door or moving boxes around. It is a straightforward kind of life. We do not have fancy displays or anything like that. Just a regular shop in a regular neighborhood. We have seen a lot of changes in the area over the years, but our spot stays pretty much the same.
