You can find the office on the second floor at 173 Gandhi Nagar. It’s tucked away behind the Gozariya NI Pole. If you aren't looking closely, you might miss the entrance sign. The stairs are a bit steep, so it is a bit of a climb every morning. Inside, it’s mostly just piles of paper and legal files stacked everywhere. We have some old wooden chairs for people to sit on while they wait. It isn't one of those glass-walled law firms you see on TV. It’s more of a practical space where we get the daily work done. There is always the sound of a printer or someone talking on the phone in the background. Most of the day is spent reading through documents and writing things down. It gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open. You can hear the noise from the street below quite clearly. We deal with a lot of local people coming in with their problems. It’s a lot of talking and trying to figure out the right way to handle things. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us making sure nothing gets missed. It is a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one file at a time. The pole outside is a good landmark if you get lost. We have been here long enough that most people nearby know the place.
