R Muralidharan

If you walk down Poddar Street in Gandhi Nagar, you will eventually find me at number 17. My name is R Muralidharan and I have been operating from this same address for a long time. This area of Bangalore is always loud and full of energy, especially with all the film offices and printing shops nearby. My place is quite small, tucked between two larger buildings, but it serves its purpose well enough for what I do. Inside, there is a bit of a dusty smell from all the papers and old furniture, but I don't mind it much. I usually arrive around ten in the morning after the worst of the traffic has died down. The street outside is always blocked with scooters and delivery vans, so I usually just walk the last bit. It’s a very busy neighborhood and there is always something going on right outside the door. I mostly deal with people I have known for twenty years or more. We sit and have tea while we talk about whatever needs doing. It isn't the kind of place where you see fancy decorations or polished floors. Everything here has a bit of wear and tear, which shows how much use it gets. I plan to stay here as long as I can because I like the rhythm of this street.
