Our small office is located at No. 9, 1st Main in Chikkamaranahalli. It’s a local neighborhood in Bangalore where everyone kind of knows each other. Queport Infotech is the name we use, and it's an LLP, so it’s just a few of us running the show. We don't have a fancy glass building or a big sign. It’s just a regular house turned into a workspace. We like it that way because it feels more relaxed. You won't find anyone wearing suits here. We mostly just wear whatever is comfortable for sitting at a desk all day. The work involves a lot of computer stuff and troubleshooting. Sometimes things go wrong and we have to stay late to figure it out. That’s just the nature of the job. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in India. We just want to do decent work for the people who hire us. Living and working in Chikkamaranahalli is pretty convenient. We can walk to most places we need to go. There’s a small shop nearby where we get our daily snacks. It’s a very grounded way of living and working. We don't have any big corporate goals written on the walls. We just have a calendar and a list of tasks. It’s practical and it works for us. We often share a few laughs over tea in the afternoon to break up the long hours and keep our spirits up.
