Our office is based in Malleswaram, which is a well-known part of Bangalore. The address is in the 560 003 zip code area. Qs Softwares is the name we go by. Malleswaram has a lot of history and you can feel that when you walk around the streets here. We are tucked away in a spot that works well for a software setup. It is not one of those huge glass buildings you see in the newer parts of the city. It’s more of a traditional space that we’ve made our own over the years. We have our servers and workstations arranged in a way that makes sense for us. The internet connection is the most important thing we have here. Sometimes the power goes out but the backup kicks in and we keep going. The local markets are close by so there is always good food around when we get hungry. We don’t have a big fancy sign or a lobby with a receptionist. It is just a place where we sit down and write code or fix bugs. It gets a bit dusty because of the road work nearby but that’s just how things are in Bangalore right now. We like the pace of this neighborhood. It feels like a real place where people actually live and work, not just a corporate park.
