Purple Feather Production

Chickpete is one of those places in Bangalore that never really sleeps, or at least it feels that way. Our office for Purple Feather Production is right in the thick of it on P S Lane. We are on the first floor of building number 5/2. If you know where the Vijayalakshmi Theatre is, we are quite close to that, right opposite Marthi Plaza. It’s a very busy area, full of shops and people moving goods around on carts. Our space is modest. We do production work, which means we are often dealing with equipment, schedules, and a lot of planning for different projects. The street outside is narrow and loud, but that’s just the character of Chickpete. You won't find a polished corporate vibe here. Instead, it’s about real work and getting things finished on time. We often have people coming in and out, and the tea stall nearby is basically our unofficial meeting spot. It can be a challenge to navigate the traffic sometimes, but being in such a central, historic part of Bangalore has its own perks. We don't have a big reception desk or a sign that lights up the sky. It’s just a door on a busy lane where we get our work done. We like the hustle. It keeps us on our toes. There is always something happening right outside our window, which is quite different from those quiet office parks you see in other parts of the city.
