Ps.Ramu Rao, Advocate, has an office located at 293 Dickenson Road, right near the Kamaraj Road and the entrance to Commercial Street. It is a very busy part of the city, always full of shoppers and traffic. Being so close to Commercial Street means there is never a dull moment outside the window. Inside the office, things are a bit more serious. We deal with legal matters, which means lots of books, files, and stacks of documents piled up on every available surface. It’s not the most organized-looking place, but we know where everything is. Much of the day is spent reading through cases, meeting with people who have legal troubles, or heading out to the courts. The office at 293 is a convenient spot for clients to drop off papers or have a quick consultation. We’ve been in this Dickenson Road area for a long time, seeing the shops around us change every few seasons. Law is a slow process sometimes, and we spend a lot of time explaining that to people who just want things settled quickly. We don't use a lot of big words if we can help it. We just tell people what the situation is and what the next step in the court might be. It’s a small, busy practice and we just try to keep up with the daily caseload as best as we can. It’s mostly reading and talking.
