Provision

We run Provision out of a space that’s shared with Laksh Kids Care and a Cyber Cafe here in Bangalore. It’s a bit of an unusual mix, we know. You’ll hear kids playing or crying in one part and the sound of keyboards clicking in the other. It’s never really quiet here, but that’s the reality of it. We are located in the 560 076 zip code area. It’s a local neighborhood spot, very informal. People come in to use the internet or drop their kids off, and we are right there in the middle of it all. It started because we needed a base of operations that didn't cost a fortune. The cyber cafe side of things keeps us busy with people needing prints or help with online forms. Provision is just the name we use for our business side. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the chairs are a bit mismatched. It doesn’t matter much to us as long as we can get our tasks finished. We don’t have a big sign outside or a fancy entrance. You just walk in past the computers and find us. It’s a very practical, boots-on-the-ground kind of place. Most of our day is spent helping whoever walks through the door or handling our own back-office work. It’s honest work in a busy, loud environment. We do what needs to be done every day without much fuss or complaint.
