Our workshop is at 26, 24th Cross in the Doddanna Industrial Estate. Being near Peenya 2nd Stage means there’s always something happening around us. Protech Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is basically a bunch of guys who like making things. We have several machines that have seen better days but still run perfectly fine. The estate is a bit cramped, and parking can be a real pain if you arrive late. Inside, it’s mostly the smell of oil and cut metal. We do a lot of custom work for other local factories. Every day is a bit different. One day we're working on small components, the next it’s something much larger. We don't have a fancy sign or a glass front. It’s just a roll-up door and a small office off to the side. The office is usually a mess of blueprints and half-empty coffee cups. We don't mind. It's how we work best. We’ve had the same neighbors for a decade now. We help each other out when someone needs a tool or an extra pair of hands. It’s a community of makers, really. We don’t talk much about goals or visions. We just look at the schedule and see what needs to be done by Friday. That's our routine. Sometimes we stay for an extra hour just to finish a stubborn piece of metal that won't behave. It is just life in the estate.
