Prolabs

Prolabs is located over at 132/2, Kishananda Road in Chelikere Village. It’s near the Kalyan Nagar Post here in Bangalore. This area used to be much quieter, but it’s grown a lot lately. We are tucked away a bit, so it’s not always easy for people to find us the first time. The office is basically a converted space that we’ve made our own over the years. We have a lot of gear and tables set up for our daily tasks. It isn't a high-end lab like you might see in the movies. It is just a practical place where we work on things. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, which is often enough in Bangalore. We’ve got a small team and we all know each other’s families. We don’t have any fancy rules or corporate dress codes. Most of us just wear what’s comfortable for working. We have a lot of books and old manuals sitting around. Sometimes we spend hours just trying to solve one small problem. It can be frustrating but we don't give up. We aren't doing this to get rich or famous. We just like the work and being in this part of town. It’s a good spot once you settle in. We keep the kettle going for most of the day and there is always someone around to chat. We just keep our heads down and do the work without much ceremony.
