Prerna Architects & Associates

Our office, Prerna Architects & Associates, is located at 24/2 in the Karuna Complex. We are right in the heart of Malleshwaram, sitting directly opposite the main Malleshwaram Market. This is a very lively part of Bangalore, so there is always the sound of vendors and traffic coming through the windows. The complex itself is an older building, and we’ve been here long enough to feel like part of the furniture. Inside, the space is usually a bit messy with rolls of blueprints, measuring tapes, and various samples of tiles or paint. We spend a lot of time bent over desks working on designs or discussing how to fix a problem with a building plan. It’s a small team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to drawing lines on a screen. The market across the street is great for grabbing a quick snack during a break, but it does make parking a bit of a nightmare sometimes. Most of our clients are locals who are either building a new house or trying to renovate an old one in the neighborhood. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that. People just walk in, and we talk about what they need over a cup of tea. It’s a very grounded way of working, and we like being right in the middle of the Malleshwaram bustle.
