Prerana Motors is right here on the second floor of the building in Milk Colony. It’s on Kirloskar Lane, which gets pretty crowded with traffic sometimes. If you know Subramanya Nagar, we are just a short walk from there in Malleshwaram West. Chandrashekar’s wife actually runs things around here mostly. It’s not one of those huge showrooms you see on the main highway. We are tucked away a bit. Most days, it's just us handling the paperwork and talking to people about their vehicles. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step when you come to visit. We’ve been in this part of Bangalore for a good bit of time now. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long. Sometimes it’s the milk trucks or just people heading to work. We deal with a lot of motor-related stuff, keeping track of what needs fixing and who is coming in next. It’s a small team, maybe three or four of us on a busy day. We drink a lot of tea while we sort through the files. It isn't always organized perfectly, but we know where everything is. People usually find us through word of mouth or if they live nearby in the colony. We aren't doing anything fancy, just running the motor business as it comes. It works for us and the locals know where to find the office. We just keep it simple.
